TOM BUK SWIENTY'S BOOK ON OUT OF AFRICA AUTHOR KAREN BLIXEN TO BE ADAPTED INTO A PERIOD SET MOVIE!

Nordisk Film has announced that they have bought rights on Tom Buk Swienty’s upcoming book on Karen Blixen, the author of famous OUT OF AFRICA! English language biopic THE LIONESS will depict her life as a coffee farmer in Kenya from 1914 to 1931! Born in 1885, she came from an upper class Danish background but spent much of her life seeking independence from her overbearing Victorian family. Gambling health and family fortune, she journeyed to become a coffee farmer in colonial Kenya. After 17 challenging years, marked by World War I, poor harvests due to various natural disasters, the onset of the Great Depression
Dashing Swienty had other of his books adapted into films
and a tragic love affair, she was forced to abandon her farm. 

THE LIONESS presents Blixen as a pioneering female CEO, in charge of more than 1,000 workers and describes her often troubled dealings with her uncle, the wealthy businessman who, as the main investor in the farm, lost a fortune on the failed business venture of his niece! Tom Buk Swienty's 2022 upcoming book The Great Dane on Niels Bohr will also be adapted into a film! He has had other historical novels of his adapted into epic movies before.
